The political momentum in Kaduna State has reached new heights as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) intensifies its campaign ahead of the forthcoming by-elections in Chikun and Kajuru Federal Constituency. At the center of this movement is Hon. Hussain Abdulkarim Ahmad Mai-Kero, Member representing Kaduna South Local Government Area in the Federal House of Representatives, who also serves as the Chairman of the PDP Campaign Council for the constituency.
In a remarkable show of grassroots mobilization, the PDP held a house-to-house rally across communities in Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas. The campaign was jointly led by Hon. Mai-Kero and the PDP State Vice Chairman for Zone 2, drawing massive support from party members, community leaders, youth groups, and enthusiastic residents.
The exercise, conducted under the spirited slogan Jagororin Fita Kunya Chikun, Kajuru, PDP All the Way, saw the campaign team engaging directly with constituents in their homes, listening to their concerns, and presenting PDP’s agenda for effective representation and development.
Hon. Mai-Kero, addressing supporters during the rally, stressed the importance of returning the PDP to federal representation for the constituency, citing the party’s track record in delivering social amenities, promoting economic empowerment, and fostering unity. He reaffirmed his commitment to people-centered leadership, promising to ensure that the voices of Chikun and Kajuru residents are heard at the national level.
The PDP State Vice Chairman for Zone 2 echoed these sentiments, applauding the unity within the party and commending the people for their warm reception during the house-to-house engagements. He called on voters to remain resolute in their support, assuring them that the PDP remains the best platform to deliver development and restore pride to the constituency.
